About me
My first camera was a Zenit EM, a Russian built-like-a-tank heavyweight 35mm SLR, gifted to me by my dad.
Studying at the Kent college of Art and Design and then onto Ravensbourne University as a mature student is where photography really got into my bloodstream! Many happy hours were spent in the darkroom, mastering the art of developing my reels of film and then printing the chosen negatives.
After 17 years building a career in sales and business development within the aerospace and defence industry, I decided to focus on building my own business in commercial photography; combining my sales experience, business development skills and industry knowledge with my passion for photography.
My love of the outdoors drew me towards trying to capture stunning landscapes often getting up at unsociable hours to make my way to a carefully researched location. Chasing misty mornings and red skies has taken me to beautiful places all over the world that I would never have found if it weren’t for my love of photography. Watching the sun rise is something I’ll never tire of.
I am a member of the Guild of Professional Photographers as well as the Association of Photographers. My images have won awards at National level and I have had my work published in national publications as well as industry-specific journals.
I enjoy helping businesses and entrepreneurs to grow by working with them to create a portfolio of strong, bespoke images that are unique to them.
When I’m not out with my camera, I’m a mum and step-mum to 3 awesome young men and two rescue dogs. I consider myself one of the lucky few to find and marry my best friend and soulmate.
Whether you’re looking for images for a website, brochure or promotional campaign, I can help.
